I read Twilight, as you know, to be able to justifiably argue with everyone who was saying "Oh the book is so much better than the movie!" that the book is, in fact, not significantly better than the movie (and only better in the sense that Kristin Stewart is not present when you read the book). The best thing I could say about it was that it made realize that as much as I was a nerd in high school, chances are I had more friends than Stephanie Meyer.
